Storyteller : Wild Woman
“Anna is conduit of other people’s stories and teller of her own. A holder of space, a thought leader, a champion of change, a fierce advocate but above all else a companion to many.”
A thing or two about me
Anna is a writer, wilderness guide and systems dreamer. With degrees in social work and master’s in human rights law, she has spent over a decade working at the intersection of communities, government and business — listening deeply and bridging the stories from communities into the rooms where decisions and policies get made.
Across that time, Anna has lived nomadically from her home on wheels throughout remote Australia, following something more wilder, more relational and truer than what dominant culture had taught her. She has come to learn that relationship and connection are at the heart of aliveness and belonging and that nothing meaningful shifts without them.
It is this understanding she brings to the wild.
She is the author of Do Wildness (Do Book Co). Her work explores the meeting place of ecology, mythology and settler inheritance, asking what it means to live in right relationship in a time of unravelling. Shaped by years of wandering, chronic illness, queerness and close attention to the living world, her writing returns again and again to the places where story, belonging and repair meet.
